    A Dose of Wisdom Revisited

I want to revisit the words of Martin Luther King on dealing with evil triumphant.  I want to remember that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the "final words in reality" and that the strength of right is seen in grace and beauty, qualities eternal and indestructible, world without end.

    Hi Jan,
I find it interesting to read what you and others write about evil; I don't think it is recognized or discussed enough. Here is a quotation that, although only nominally related to your post about evil and right, I find comforting: "The dark and deadly powers still rage because they know they have been defeated by the Prince of Peace". ~Richard John Newhaus, in 'God With Us', 2007, Paraclete Press.
    Have a blessed Advent, Jan.

    Vanessa, that's a beautiful quotation

I am fascinated with evil because it always seems to be so unexpected. As my friend says, there are monsters living amongst us, but they look like people...

I hope you, too, have a meaningful Advent and Christmas.
