Peacock Feather: The Color of Summer

Until gazing at your painting, I had not noticed the upside-down heart in the peacock feather. Kind of funny - sometimes the peacock drags that heart through the dirt; other times, seemingly after great deliberation, he slowly hoists it high for all to see.

This is a beautiful emblem. I hope we will see more. I'd love to see what you'd make of other feathers - though surely none can be so expressive as the peacock's.
