Meaningful Text: Rose

There are some colors I have always had a hard time defining, like the rose in the photograph below.  At first glance this rose can appear to be white, but upon closer inspection you can see lots of pink and cream.  Pale, pale coral?  A tinge of pink and a tinge of yellow?  Exquisite, whatever the color may be.  So beautiful it inspired me to create a rose pattern, which is what you see at the top of this post. 

From the photograph you see above I created a pattern and used it to fill the word "Rose" created with the font Impact.  I played around with the layer blending, and here is what I came up with.  It is what I call Meaningful Text, and it is a nice feature to use in logos.  It is also a lovely way to keep forever roses given to me by a wonderful and thoughtful man.
